Endless summer~***

I love the softness of these photos.

I took these pictures late in the day when the sun was low in the sky; my second favorite time of day to take pictures.
(my first being early morning)

The ending of the day~***

Kalidiscope of color~***

I got this cute rusty bird feeder from my Mom & Dad a few years ago & I put marble's in it to add some color to it all year round. My Dad doesn't care for rusty metal objects in the garden, so a few years back when the metal bird feeder I gave him started to rust he proceeded to spray paint it a love~r~ly milk chocolate brown. We all got a good laugh at that & told him that people pay good money for rusty garden sculptures.

How amazing is THIS photo???
It is now my desktop image.

Butterfly~***

While I was outside this morning taking pictures I got a VERY welcome visit from this little beauty!

*~ AMAZING ~*

Hardy hibiscus time~***

I love this time of year when the hibiscus' start to bloom!

They always add a great tropical feel to my cottage garden.

This hibiscus is in the front of the house right outside the front door, next to the blue fountain & it's a dwarf version.

excitment in the pond

I was super excited to find that my water hyacinth was in bloom & that I didn't miss it this year. This beautiful bloom only lasts a day. Two years ago I was away on vacation & when I got home I had noticed the spent bloom floating in the water.
So YIPPY!!!! I was so shocked to see just how amazing the flower is. It's a tiny little flower with a lot of color packed into it. This cluster had 4 blooms on it.
Enjoy!!!
